World U21 Final Update
The first round of the World U21 final was held on 11 July in Italy and I started off slowly with a 3rd place in my first heat. Things improved over the next 3 heats where I got 2nd placings and I got my set up right by the final heat and fortunately got the win after all riders fell on the first corner causing a restart. This put me in equal 4th position overall with two other riders and makes it pretty congested at the top so getting a consistent run of good heat results at the next round is going to be really important.
The 2nd round is being held this weekend (15 August) in Lublin, Poland so hopefully I will do well enough to keep me near the top of the ladder.
I’ve had some good results in my league racing for all teams in the UK, Denmark and Poland over the last month or so. It’s been extremely busy which has been good. Belle Vue is currently 3rd in the League and in contention for the playoffs and Rybnik in Poland have won every match I’ve been in and are currently sitting on top of the league ladder. Region Varde Elite Sports in Denmark is also going really well and hopefully all my teams will make the playoffs which will be pretty cool.
Belle Vue produce weekly newsletters detailing all the action and results and these can be accessed via their website here http://bellevueaces.co/newsletter.aspx
Rybnik produce a video magazine after each home meeting and these can be viewed on their website here http://www.zksrow.rybnik.com.pl/video.html
