What’s been happening in Denmark
Workshop racing with Kristian
I’ve been in Denmark for a nearly a month now and I’ve feel really lucky to be staying with Kristian Lund and his family from KLSupport at Outrup. They have all been so helpful to me and made me feel so welcome. I’m enjoying working with Kristian at his workshop and travelling to lots of different tracks for both practice and racing. Kristian has given me a great bike from his shop to ride whilst I’m in Europe and I can’t thank him enough because it’s awesome.
I have been given the No. 1 spot in my team which pits me against some pretty tough riders and I feel I’m improving with each ride as I get more used to the two stroke 85cc sliders. We are now happy with the bike set up and I’m getting more comfortable and confident on it.
The amount of riding that the juniors get to do in Denmark is fantastic. Some weeks we race up to 3 or 4 times in a week and I’m also getting some practice time too. I’ve met some really good guys that have been helping me at the meeting which is giving me time to concentrate on my riding . I have been scoring well for the team so I hope they are happy with the results.
I’ve put some footage of a race that I was in last week in Skaebaek on my gallery/video page if you want to have a look at how things are going.
My Dad is coming over later this week and will be here to see me race in the Nikki Peterson Cup which is one of the big Danish Junior races and the following week we head off to Vetlanda for the Youth Gold Trophy meeting.
